A quick meme

I plugged in the text of one of my most recent short stories and got this:

William Shakespeare

Don't I wish.  Out of curiosity, I tried again with the novel chapter I'm currently working on and got this:

I write like
J. K. Rowling

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I write sex scenes like J.K. Rowling!  And why stop there?  I decided to try the first chapter of the novel, for which I got:

I write like
Kurt Vonnegut

Vonnegut does epic fantasy!  And when I plugged in chapter two:

I write like
Charles Dickens

Either my writing is very confused, or this meme is.

I chose to look at it as each book having a unique voice. Sounds so much better than my writing being confused. ;-)

For my results, I'd have to look at each chapter as having a unique voice, which wasn't the intention, so I'm going to declare the meme confused. :)

I was going to do the meme until someone else posted their results that pretty much mimicked yours: a different writer for each submission. I'm confused enough by my writing already, without being more confused about who I write like.

Since this meme thinks I write sex scenes like Rowling and high fantasy-style novel openings like Vonnegut, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the results are highly suspect. :)

I haven't tried it myself, but I read somewhere else that someone had put in some Margaret Atwood text (one of the possible results) and got someone else. Very silly.
