babarnett: (torchwood ianto monday)

Despite the icon, I get to start my Monday off with a squee!  My short story "Mortis Persona" is now up at Fantasy Magazine.  I may be ever so slightly excited about this one.  As [livejournal.com profile] vegan_vulcan  (Fantasy's Managing Editor Molly Tanzer) put it the other day: "This story made me cry and drool and cheer all at the same time."  I inspire drool, people! What more endorsement could you possibly need to go read?

Think? I don't believe in thinking. That's too brainy. I think with my GUT.

It's a conspiracy. Facebook doesn't want you to experience my awesomeness. Livejournal, on the other hand, totally does. :)

As to the publication, kudos!! Great venue. :)

As to the story: Awwwww! I loved it. Absolutely awesome. I love the setting and especially loved the concept. And my heart ached for Caldus the whole time.

But the drool is vital. The crying and cheering is nothing without the drool. :)

But seriously, thanks!
