Sales & Puddles

I thought I was going to be in for a craptastic Monday when the first thing in my inbox this morning was a rejection.  But the next thing in my inbox was an acceptance from Every Day Fiction for my flash story "Dumping the Dead," so it all evened out.  I originally wrote "Dumping the Dead" for a ghost story slam at the 2007 World Fantasy Convention, where ellevate , hildebabble , ariadne_3 and vash137 valiantly struggled to stay awake until I finally had my chance to read at something like 2 a.m.

And courtesy of the silly fun over at jongibbs's LJ, I've apparently earned a Meager Puddle of Limelight. Considering the afternoon deluge we had here earlier, the puddles seem highly appropriate. :)
