I like dinner party stories. They start out all normal, and turn into something else. Those stories give me inklings that something fantastic could one day happen to me.

I figured a Murder Mystery Dinner would be a fun type of dinner party to play with in a fantasy story. Everyone's all dressed up and trying to play their roles, so it'd probably take longer for the characters to notice things aren't quite right. :)
